Hello Friends.
It has been 20 plus years since I last attended a TFFM meeting. Like a lot of folk, I went my seperate way when I remarried in late \'83. Some of you may remember the Misty Harbor Band with Geary Parkinson, Sue Warnallis, Connie Austin, Mike Anderson and the best Banjo player around at the time,Mike Munden, and yours truly Jim Farris.
Just read the wonderful article in the Chesapeake Clipper. Congrats to the TFFM group. It has sparked my interest in the TFFM again.
Just dropped in to say hello.

I love folk music very much and it\'s the only music that appeals to me at all.
Singer songwriters are the most unrecognized artist of all the great artist. They deserve better. I\'m glad there are venues such as TFFM that still promote these artist.
Thanks Mike

Specifically the appearance of Ship\'s Company Chanteymen, and also Scuttlebut made up of Bob Zentz, Rick Lee, and Tom Lewis. I saw their performances Friday and enjoyed them throughly.
